The LYC Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to qualified Sussex County high school seniors in good standing wishing to engage in post-secondary educational/technical degree, certificate, and apprentice programs in the areas of environmental & ocean science, maritime studies, and marine/vessel operations at an institution qualified to educate and grant a degree/certificate in the chosen field of study.
The LYC Foundation awards four (4) Lewes Yacht Club Foundation Charles A Beaverson Jr. $1,000 scholarships each academic year.

Scholarship applications are available online. Completed Applications and Recommendation Forms to be mailed to: LYC Foundation 2701 Cedar St. PO Box 2 Lewes DE 19958 no later than April 15th

April 15 - Scholarship Application due
May 1 - Applicant notified
Applicants' race, gender, gender preference, ethnicity or religious affiliation will not influence the awarding of scholarships.
A Scholarship recipient is required to provide appropriate receipts validating expenditure of scholarship funds.
